Here are our fearless leaders for this year!

Northwestern Ontario
Paula

Hi!  I’m Paula and I’m looking forward to my first year as Camp Director and second year with Camp Quality.  My first year was spent learning from Clara Butikofer in the position of Assistant Director.   My claim to fame is my family so I’ll tell you about them first and foremost.  My husband, Eric, and I have been married for 18 years this coming September.  We have four endearing children who are my pride and joy: Samantha is 16 years old, Matt is almost 15, Steph turns 13 in December and Sabrina is 11 years old.  They keep us hopping with their various activities and budding social lives, and have been very supportive of my new role with CQ.

Our entire family plays hockey at various levels and we are generally very active.  I recently decided to take a break from women’s hockey this season to focus more on my squash game and running.   Besides a busy family life, I am also a school teacher and will have the pleasure of teaching a Grade 1/2 split class full time this coming year.  It is a new school for me, but not a new grade.

My decision to join Camp Quality is proving to be an inspirational one.  I always look forward to events and spending time with our lovely campers and volunteers.  I’m very fortunate to be surrounded by so many amazing people in my life!

Eastern Ontario
Glenn and Pam

Glenn and his wife, Pam, are the founding Directors of Camp Quality Eastern Ontario. They started planning in the summer of 1998. Two years later, the camp became a reality in October of 2000. This August, Camp Quality will hold its 7th camp, in Lanark, Ontario. In his real life, Glenn manages the Commercial Services division of Energy Ottawa, an electricity generating company in the Nation’s capital.
Alberta
Joey

2007 was my first year at Camp Quality and it truly was an enlightening experience!  Our “Lights! Camera! Action!” theme went off without a hitch and is one for the books.  It was my honour to contribute to this year’s camp festivities.
I have the privilege of serving as the Director of Camp Quality Alberta for the following year and I am proud to be a part of Camp Quality as we all celebrate and find the kid in ourselves.
A special thank you to the staff, volunteers, campers, and Terry, for the warm welcome into the Camp Quality Family. I look forward to another year of fun, fellowship, and exhilarating summer adventures!
Manitoba
Noelle

Noelle is heading into her third year as camp director, after a very successful camp in 2006. Noelle's past experience as a Girl Guide Leader and as a volunteer at a burn camp are a great asset to CQ Manitoba.
Northern Ontario
Teresa

Teresa has been involved with CQNO since 1992. She served on the COC as Secretary for 10 years. She was the Assistant Director for one year and is in her third term as director. Vera Entwistle, the founder of Camp Quality, is her mentor. She has been married to Mark for 23 years and they have three children – Megan 20, Jeremy 18 and Andrew 16.

New Heights
Lindsay

Hello all!  Lindsay White here! I am now in my fourth year of volunteering for Camp Quality.  During my first two years I volunteered at the Southern Ontario camp as a Companion.  And this past year I helped organize the first New Heights weekend ever!  I work part-time as a Dental Assistant; and attend the University of Toronto as a full-time student.  I am finishing up my undergraduate degree in Sociology, English and Women’s Studies.  Three years from now I hope to be teaching in a public school, inspiring and shaping young minds at the intermediate and senior level. This year I have been busy planning for our wedding; Graham and I are tying the knot this August and we are really looking forward to the celebration! Directing New Heights was an amazing experience for me last year, in fact – it was easily one of the greatest weekends of my whole year!  I am very excited to be planning the weekend again and I am trying very hard to make it even better than last year!

Graham and I are both looking forward to working with all of the wonderful people involved in Camp Quality, and making New Heights a soaring success!
